Team—

I understand you all just wrapped up your town hall - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Last time I sent you all a note, I mentioned the following: “I am confident in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and talented creators we have had the pleasure to work with - and we’re eager for that collaboration to continue.”

Through your commitment and adaptability, especially over the last year, you repeatedly show that.

The player input from last autumn’s Project ETHOS demo was enlightening. It confirmed the potential of a roguelike shooter but indicated we still had refinements needed. It uncovered the need for a more distinct brand.

It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve come. You embraced the criticism to consideration and overhauled Project ETHOS with a refreshed goal - one that’s poised to fulfill its potential to our fans.

Our confidence in this project increases every day. To boost the remarkable progress you’ve made, I am thrilled to introduce the new hire as the new Director of the team. Following a period of talks, he starts with us on Monday, October 20.

His guidance and expertise in the competitive gaming space is considerable, having devoted the recent years producing and overseeing some of the most popular series in the industry, such as the acclaimed shooter, and more recently, the battle royale hit.

Please join me in welcoming him next week. We are all excited to continue seeing the progress of Project ETHOS in the months to ahead.
